Amidst a sea of toys, books and stray socks covering the carpet, Peeper worked on a puzzle. She concentrated as she arranged several robots, fitting their wooden heads, bodies and feet together.
Then she moved on to a number puzzle.
As she was putting the numbers in their places, she paused. She moved one piece over to the robots.
“Look, now it’s a forehead!” she shouted.
And just like that, my preschooler is a punster.
AWWW. Happy Monday. 🙂
You too! Not a bad way to start the week. 🙂
Ahh cute! 🙂 I so loved wooden puzzles when my kids were little. They’re the best!
Me too! Good thing they’re durable. Toys take a beating in our house!
🙂 Her creativeness is shining through!
I love to hear the connections her little brain is making!
So sweet! And so it begins… catching on to humor young says a lot about your wee one. I’m sure she is going to bring great joy to this world. xx
She sure brings me a lot of joy! (and frustration sometimes – like tonight, when she keeps coming out of her room instead of going to sleep!!)
That’s adorable! It’s posts like these that make me miss my little kiddos so much. And then I remember… sweet little ones all must turn into teens someday. (Speaking of forehead slaps.) Have a wonderful week, Catherine!
HAHA! This made me laugh so hard! With Peeper’s smarts, I’m sure she’ll give us a run for our money by the time she’s a teen. Geez!
